One could never do that with the Cook for sure.
#Rogue legacy blessings full
I did a full clear on NG+10 earlier today with Valkyrie and was able to oneshot almost every regular enemy on the map (with a crit), except tanks like Royal Knight. Especially in higher NG cycles the Cook falls a bit short in comparison, because the burn doesn't quite match the damage output that other classes like the Valkyrie has. If it got a bit more base mana/hit and burn's damage was lowered but allowed for criticals as well as relics like the serrated handle would work, it would be betterĪs is, taking defensive items is really the way to go with itįully agree with you. That said, the burn is good, but it can not do criticals: late game the chef's damage remains bad from weapon damage, can't recover mana fast enough and the burn just doesn't keep up well compared to other damage sources which will by then deal quadruple damage 2/3 of the time, meaning you have to rely on flat INT which several relics like the serrated handle doesn't affect at all This feeds into it being a mediocore spellcasting class as well as it can't recover mana very efficiently either and if you happen to have fireball/searing shot, well, burn doesn't stack either so they both weaken eachother's effect The burn comes at the cost of the pan being a much slower'n'lower range weapon, also dealing the worst weapon damage in the game I really don't see how any relics are worse for the cook then they are for other classes. So you even save Resolve when playing as Cook, which you can then spend on other stuff. Except the Mage, when he applies his Mana drain. Other classes need to pick up two relics to get that combo rolling (Catalyst + Sun). Quite the opposite because you already have the burn from the start, you only need Catalyst for that extra damage. It doesn't make the Cook any worse in that regard. Your example applies to every other class as well? Originally posted by Omegatherion:No, i really don't understand your problem.
